Latest Firmware and WebUI Bundle
Download the newest firmware version for your INSTAR HD camera on the left side and unpack the downloaded ZIP file. Once unpacked you will find a "update.pkg" file. Please open the web interface of your camera inside the web browser and go to "Software - Upgrade" and select the "update.pkg" file in order to upload it to your camera. Press submit and wait for about 12 minutes until the update is complete. Below we show you an overview of the new INSTAR Cloud platform which is now available (currently the video is only in German, but the platform itself is also available in English):
New Features in version 1.21 (752):
- Alarm recordings up to 45 seconds
- Touch support for drawing alarm areas
- The alarm area will be specified in the log when using linked alarm
- PUSH test button added. Push must be activated and QR code must be scanned prior to using the test button
- WiFi and network settings can now be exempted from the factory reset
- An alarm event can be triggered by the following CGI command - /param.cgi?cmd=pushhostalarm
- When using DHCP, camera will claim an unique DHCP hostname
- Built-in recovery functionalities to restore cameras with a failed update. Downgrades will be limited to this exact version

Important notice for update FW 3.1.2.66, WebUI 1.19:
The firmware is now saving all settings before the update and restores them after the update. Please note, that therefor the update can take up to 12 minutes. Usually the update is done after 7-8 minutes. Never unplug the power during an update, stay relaxed... the camera will need a certain time to restore the old settings during the update process.
