Power over Ethernet (PoE) est une méthode de transmission de données et de courant sur un seul câble réseau. La condition préalable à cela est un commutateur ou un injecteur compatible PoE avec lequel le câble réseau est connecté. Lorsque vous connectez ensuite l'autre extrémité à un périphérique compatible PoE, dans ce cas la caméra INSTAR, la caméra est alimentée et transmet simultanément des données via le câble réseau.
