Not All Pipes Should Smoke

An intense blaze erupted at a pipe works operation in Navasota, Texas resulting in a major property loss for the company. Their paint line caught on fire and the ensuing smoke and soot made its way throughout the company’s 40,000 sq. ft. building. One call to InStar, and they were on their way to recovery.

Our Technical Services Team conducted emergency corrosion control to stabilize each of the 41 CNC machines. After which they proceeded to completely detail and decontaminate those machines, as well as the power distribution system, production support equipment and the entire structure of the building.

InStar also ozoned the files in the upstairs storage area, employed local labor to clean the building structure, and even painted the ceiling in the production area. Now, the pipe works company is back in business − and you’d never know they had a fire.
